Gifts will support the Department of Geography at IU Indianapolis.

Income from gifts will support opportunities and programs that directly benefit undergraduate students in the Department of Geography within the College of Arts and Sciences.

Income from gifts will support undergraduate scholarships for students majoring in Geography who demonstrate academic merit and financial need. Preference will be given to students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Income from gifts will be used for the support and maintenance of awards to be known as "The Thomas F. Barton Awards." Students must meet specific requirements to receive funding.

Gifts will support opportunities for graduate students in the Department of Geography at IU Bloomington to develop, enhance, or expand their research activities. Additional requirements must be met for students to receive funding.
