Additional Info

Indiana University would be a very different place without the generosity of donors like Jesse and Beulah Cox. Their legacy rests on a foundation of unshakable values: hard work, perseverance, and generosity. It lives on thanks to continued support from generous Cox alumni and friends.

The Cox Scholars Program rewards hard work and a commitment to self-improvement. Six different scholarships currently bear the Cox name: Cox Legacy Scholarship, Cox Exploratory Scholarship, Cox Research Scholarship, Cox Access Scholarship, Cox Civic Scholarship, and the Cox Engagement Scholarship.

All Cox Scholars work 10 hours each week of the academic school year. Work assignments vary by scholarship received and career interests. All Cox Scholars have unique and rewarding experiences—full of new adventures and friendships, with plenty of interactive and experiential learning opportunities along the way. Cox Scholars go on to do tremendous work—in their careers, and in their local communities.

With a gift to the IUB Cox Scholars Program Fund today, you will help support these dedicated students as they serve in their communities, gain valuable real-world experience, conduct innovative research, and strive to become the best versions of themselves.
