Scholarships are one of the important efforts supported by this fund. The Evening MBA’s competitive scholarship program offers financial support to applicants who exemplify one of our five core values and who demonstrate the potential to become leaders, both within the program and in their respective fields after graduating. Our scholarship programs include:

Sustainable Operations Scholars. As the business world becomes increasingly focused on sustainability and social responsibility, there’s a growing need for leaders who understand the importance of sustainable operations and can drive change within their organizations. Sustainable Operations Scholars are interested in being leaders in the future of operations and/or technology.

Community Engagement Scholars. The business world has the power to create lasting positive change, and it’s important for future business leaders to have a strong sense of purpose and a heart for giving back. Community Engagement Scholars demonstrate dedication to community engagement and have a clear vision for how the MBA will help them make an even greater impact.

Advancing Women Leaders Scholars. The business world needs strong female leaders who can drive change and advance gender equality. Advancing Women Leaders Scholars work to promote the advancement of women into leadership roles within organizations.

Entrepreneurship Scholars. The business world needs a new generation of entrepreneurs who take risks, think creatively, and find new solutions to complex problems. Some Entrepreneurship Scholars already work in the small-business or startup space, while others are interested in pursuing a startup after completing the Evening MBA. These students have demonstrated a clear entrepreneurial vision for bringing their ideas to life.

Global Business Scholars. The world is becoming increasingly interconnected, and there’s a growing need for leaders who understand the complexities of doing business on a global scale. Global Business Scholars are passionate about growing their ability to support expanding markets, bridge cultural differences, and navigate international regulations, all with the goal of building partnerships across borders.

In July 2024, IUPUI will become Indiana University Indianapolis and will no longer be affiliated with Purdue University. The Indiana University Foundation, Inc. will update all fund titles and fund descriptions for IUPUI funds to reflect this change, and funds intended for Purdue’s School of Engineering and Technology will be transferred to Purdue under the agreement between IU and Purdue. Until July 2024, gifts to this fund will continue to be administered by the Indiana University Foundation, Inc., on behalf of IUPUI.
