IU South Bend's student-centric focus is at the core of our mission. Our campus enhances our communities by educating students who will impact our local economy, with an average of 65 percent of graduates staying in the South Bend-Elkhart region to pursue their careers. What's more, U.S. News and World Report ranked IU South Bend as the #4 Midwest regional public university for social mobility. And all of this is in addition to IUSB being the most affordable four-year university in the region. 

The Chancellor's Fund helps make these accomplishments possible. Donations are used to enhance the student experience and ensure that the impact of our students extends beyond the classroom and into the community. As we look to deepen IUSB's contributions to our region, we’re proud to implement our portion of the broader IU 2030 strategic plan, featuring three universal pillars: student success and opportunity, transformative research and creative activity, and service to our state and beyond.
