Additional Info
The IU Northwest Community Garden began as a 2010 class project, but quickly outgrew the confines of the classroom. By the spring of 2011, a campus-community partnership formally established the garden, transforming a vacant lot on campus into a blossoming array of colorful native plants and vegetables.
Since 2010, the garden initiative has recognized the importance of building community as well as serving as a learning resource. Over the years, students, faculty, staff, and community members have all come together to share ideas and to work in the garden. Your contribution to this fund will help members of the campus and the public build new friendships and relationships that go beyond the challenges of simply sustaining a community garden. It is the synergy of our interests and our actions that makes our work together enjoyable and purposeful.
Thank you for your generous support!
