The Student in Crisis Fund was established in 2008 by the Professional Staff Council at IU Kokomo to support degree-seeking, current IU Kokomo students. Our goal is to support students through life’s unexpected barriers that can keep them from being successful in their current semester. We are aware that unplanned situations happen sometimes, and we don't want those emergencies to keep students from completing a degree. This fund is meant to be a last resort to help students address emergency situations.

Your gift will be used to help students facing a financial hardship who meet the eligibility requirements. The funding may be used for needs such as emergency housing; medical- or mental health-related expenses; educational materials; emergency child care; or transportation-related expenses for students. We know that attending college can be challenging, especially for our full-time students. That’s why we would truly appreciate your support to alleviate some of the burden from our students by contributing to this fund.
