The AMPATH Emergency Response Fund provides rapid, flexible resources to address urgent needs as they arise in Kenya and across our global partnership. Whether they're facing a funding shortfall, a pandemic, or a humanitarian crisis, your generosity ensures that AMPATH’s frontline health teams can act quickly to save lives and support vulnerable communities.
Your gift will support expenses incurred by the IU Center for Global Health at IU School of Medicine for the emergency response and humanitarian programs of AMPATH. This could include covering essential expenses such as medical supplies, patient care, humanitarian assistance, and the critical work of health professionals who deliver care under the most challenging circumstances. It can also include sustaining vital staff and infrastructure when external funding is disrupted.
During COVID-19, donors like you helped AMPATH protect health workers, maintain care for patients with chronic diseases, and deliver vaccines and supplies to rural communities. More recently, your support has helped cushion the impact of sudden international funding changes, ensuring continuity of lifesaving services for thousands of families.
