Additional Info

Our students are committed to making the world a better place by working in the field of philanthropy and supporting the causes that they feel passionately about. Whether their goal is to solve issues with food insecurity, the environment, or supporting the arts, we want to ensure that they have the opportunity to earn their degree and develop the skills they need to work toward bringing positive change.
Many of our students are striving to accomplish these goals on their own, without financial support from their family. When something unexpected arises, such as an illness or a car repair, it can cause a student to be forced to temporarily or permanently end their education. The Student Emergency Fund provides financial assistance for students facing economic hardship to allow them to continue pursuing their degree.
Your giving matters
As a newly arrived international student, navigating the challenges of a new country can feel overwhelming, especially when something unexpected like my bike being stolen happened. However, the quick and generous support from Indiana University, which enabled me to buy a new bike, made me feel incredibly supported and welcomed, showing me that even in difficult moments, I’m not alone here.
