Additional Info
Gifts to this fund support invaluable initiatives that empower students across Indiana, helping them build academic skills, confidence, and a foundation for future success.
One example is the Indiana University K-12 Student Success Corps (IU K-12 SSC), which has served nearly 2,500 students statewide since 2016, improving academic performance and social-emotional growth. IU K-12 SSC efforts like the Young Scholars Program, which provided one-on-one phonics instruction in Indianapolis Public Schools, have demonstrated measurable success, with more than 80 percent of students showing improved reading skills and increased confidence. Mentoring initiatives also enhance attendance, social-emotional learning, and positive behavior.
Your gift to the Tutoring and Mentoring Program Support Fund ensures that these impactful programs—and others like them—can continue. Thank you for your generosity!
Your giving matters
This program is amazing. My son has ADHD and situational anxiety, and even though he has an Individualized Education Program through the high school, he doesn’t always get the one-on-one help that he needs. Since starting this tutoring program, he has raised his grade from an F and maintained a C+ to a B+ the past two semesters.
