Additional Info
Innovation propels all that we do at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. We forge new paths by placing ourselves at the forefront of technology education.
The Luddy School in Indianapolis houses degrees in biohealth informatics, library and information science, computer science, human-centered computing, data science, media arts and science, health information management, and more. Our areas of study touch every industry imaginable in a world driven by information, data, and technology.
Tuition and state funding cover only part of the cost of the Luddy School’s unique educational experience. Charitable giving offsets much of the difference, but most gifts are designated for a particular cause. This makes flexible funding vital to the Luddy School. The Luddy Indianapolis Step Up Fund provides the unrestricted support essential to addressing initiatives that other, strictly designated funds can't; it’s the difference that allows the Luddy School to direct support where it’s most needed.
Gifts made to the Luddy Indianapolis Step Up Fund support crucial opportunities that might otherwise not exist, such as:
- Travel for student conferences and events, including the Grace Hopper Conference
- Student awards support
- Graduate and undergraduate scholarships
- And more
Your gift is essential in supporting an incredible student experience. We invite you to join us in building a better tomorrow by stepping up today.
Your giving matters
My Luddy degrees provided numerous opportunities for me throughout my career. My time on campus was an amazing experience through which I met many life-long friends, mentors, and colleagues. I give to Luddy so that today’s students might enjoy the same life-changing education and experiences.
