Gifts to this fund can support the 3/2 MBA program in any number of important ways, from course enrichments to faculty awards and more. Another important need is to enhance opportunities for hands-on student experiences.

The 3/2 MBA curriculum emphasizes practical learning through both international and domestic experiences, such as field study and internships. Students will work with at least three companies while earning their degrees, ensuring that they are prepared for today’s modern business world. These experiential learning opportunities include:

  • Capstone competitions: Student teams compete against each other in an industry with the assistance of a faculty mentor during this weeklong multidisciplinary business simulation.
  • Global field study: A signature element of the 3/2 MBA program is a seven-week internship at the end of the spring semester of the first graduate year (fourth year at Kelley). In keeping with our promise of preparing students for success, students engage in hands-on projects where they are fully immersed within host companies around the world, including places like China, England, Poland, Romania, and Vietnam.
  • Local field consulting: Kicking off year two of graduate study, semester-long consulting projects give 3/2 MBA students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world business issues in a team setting.
  • More internship opportunities: All 3/2 MBA students engage with at least three companies or organizations while earning their degree. Many students use the summer between their senior year and fifth year to complete an internship.

The results of these offerings—and the program as a whole—speak for themselves, as more than 98 percent of our recent graduates received job offers within 90 days of graduation. Our alumni also quickly rise to leadership roles in their organizations, attributing their success to the maturity, complex reasoning, and real-world skills they gained from their Kelley 3/2 MBA experience.

Thank you for supporting this life-changing program and shaping the business leaders of tomorrow!
