This support will take the form of awards or fellowships to students, some of which will be awarded at the beginning of their studies to help provide a strong start and others near the end of their studies in recognition of achievement in the program.

Providing strong financial support to our graduate students is a priority for the Department of Chemistry. Your gifts to this fund will help us provide more awards and fellowships to students that will help attract top talent to our program and recognize students for their achievements. 

Our graduate students receive world-class training in our PhD program as they conduct research at the cutting edge of chemistry. After completing our graduate program, they will go on to important roles in industry, government labs, academia, and other fields. Most of our graduate students receive some form of additional support during their time in the program, and we are very grateful to our alumni and friends that make this possible, as it helps our students have a better experience in the program and feel recognized for their hard work and achievement.
