The Student Emergency Fund helped when I had an urgent situation come up and was unable to pay for my rent. Applying for assistance from this fund was my last hope. If I hadn’t received the grant, I would have been evicted from my house and wouldn’t have been able to finish my school year, which would have put me tremendously behind. I am very thankful that I’m on track to finish my degree.
