Income from gifts will support two scholarships through the Department of English in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI -- One for the best poem and one for the best piece of fiction, written in an introductory-level creative writing course.

Gifts support the operation and publication of the student-produced art and literary magazine "genesis" through the Department of English in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI. Gifts will also support awards related to artistic submissions to "genesis".

Income from gifts will support awards to associate faculty members of the School of Liberal Arts Writing Program at IUPUI to attend professional conferences related to teaching and writing or for other professional development activities.

Gifts will support professional development opportunities for Lecturers in the Department of English within the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI.

Gifts will support the International Center for Intercultural Communication through the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI.

Income from gifts will support faculty work outside of the disciplinary home of the Department of English in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI. Specific requirements must be met for the faculty to receive funding.

Gifts will support the English for Academic Purposes Program within the Department of English in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI.

Income from gifts will provide support to bring persons distinguished for their work in the Humanities to the IUPUI campus through the Department of English at the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI.

Gifts will support the Department of English within the School of Liberal Arts at IU Indianapolis.

Gifts support scholarships for undergraduate students who submit the best essay written in an introductory composition course within the Department of English in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI. An honorable mention may also be included in selection.

Gifts will support scholarships for undergraduate students who have taken one or more literature courses offered by the English Department in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI. Specific requirements must be met for students to receive funding.

Gifts will support the Writing Program in the Department of English in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI.
