The Mental Health Center (MHC) is an in-house training clinic located inside the Psychology Department in the School of Science at IU Indianapolis. Mental Health services are provided by doctoral students from the Clinical Psychology PhD program at IU Indianapolis, and they are supervised by the MHC’s Director, who is a licensed clinical psychologist. The MHC provides individual therapy sessions for students who are navigating less severe mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, grief, loss, sleep difficulties, adjustment issues, relationship strain, and career indecision. The MHC also provides psychological evaluations for ADHD and Learning Disabilities.

The Mental Health Center (MHC) is an in-house training clinic located inside the Psychology Department in the School of Science at IU Indianapolis. Mental Health services are provided by doctoral students from the Clinical Psychology PhD program at IU Indianapolis, and they are supervised by the MHC’s Director, who is a licensed clinical psychologist.
The MHC has a dual mission: 1) to serve as a practicum site for doctoral students who are training to become psychologists; 2) to provide low-cost mental health services to IU Indianapolis students (undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs).
The MHC provides individual therapy sessions for students who are navigating less severe mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, grief, loss, sleep difficulties, adjustment issues, relationship strain, and career indecision. The MHC also provides psychological evaluations for ADHD and Learning Disabilities.
With your support, we are able to offer reduced-cost services, provide grants to students to pay for psychological evaluations, and best support the needs of the center.
