Cost is the #1 reason cited by unenrolled adults in the U.S. for why they aren't pursuing a postsecondary degree or certificate. Most enrolled students still face a gap between what they can afford and what it costs to attend college—even with existing scholarships and financial aid. The affordability gap is worst for students from the lowest-income backgrounds. With the IU Student Support Scholarship, we hope to make it as easy as possible for students who need our help the most to get it.

Indiana University has hundreds of scholarships available to its students, but the IU Student Support Scholarship is special. For starters, it’s one of the few scholarships at IU that is university-wide. That means any IU student on any IU campus will be eligible to apply, including both undergraduate and graduate students. Other than being an enrolled student, the only other eligibility requirement is financial need.

The more donations we receive for this scholarship each year, the more we will be able to award in the following year.
