Human Computer Interaction/Design Fund

Additional Info
At the heart of the Human-Computer Interaction Design (HCI/d) program is a commitment to designing technologies that respond to human needs and values. Through hands-on learning in our HCI studios, interdisciplinary exploration through our diverse electives, and real-world engagement through experiential learning opportunities, our students develop solutions that improve everyday life and contribute to a more equitable world.
Gifts to the HCI/d Program Fund can provide support for initiatives such as:
- Upgrading the HCI/d studio: Your donation can help create new, state-of-the-art collaboration and prototyping areas in our studio, giving students the tools to experiment, design, and hone their skills in an inspiring environment.
- Study abroad opportunities: Contributions can help us defray costs for students to participate in our annual study abroad trip to the United Kingdom. There, they gain firsthand experience in digital civics and community engagement work in the northeast of England, a vital complement to their design education.
- Experiential learning: Your gift can support professional development activities that allow students to visit leading companies, engage with industry professionals, and participate in workshops that build real-world skills, preparing them for successful careers in human-centered design.
We invite you to help build a better future for HCI/d students with your gift today. By supporting these and other initiatives, we can continue to provide a world-class education that enables our students to drive meaningful change.
Your giving matters

Participating in the study abroad program was a transformative experience that deepened my understanding of design, empathy, and digital civics. It reminded me of the importance of exploring beyond the classroom and connecting with diverse perspectives. By giving back to Luddy, you can help ensure that future students have the chance to embark on similar journeys, gaining invaluable insights and experiences that will shape their futures!
