More Info

In May 2024, seven students, their faculty coordinator and a graduate assistant traveled to Ghana for a two-week immersive experience. The future educators noted the experience enabled them to immerse themselves in a different culture and enhanced their global perspectives. The initiative has now been approved for a three-year program, that will help expand students’ cultural awareness and strengthen their learning and understanding around urban education.

This May 2025, students, faculty coordinators, and graduate assistants will participate in the Inspire, Educate and Transform Ghana Study Abroad Program. The School is also developing additional study abroad travel opportunities to Spain and Mexico!

Your gifts will support study abroad and international teaching and research opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Education on the Indianapolis campus; and help advance the School of Education’s vision to support educational excellence.
