Fueling Excellence in the Arts: Support Herron Scholarships

By IU Herron School of Art and Design

When you make a gift to Herron School of Art + Design’s General Scholarship Fund, you support developing artists, art therapists, designers, teachers, historians, musicians, and music therapists.

Students come to Herron with big dreams and the desire to receive an outstanding education. They see a future in the arts, and they hunger for an opportunity to share their vision and talent with the world. Unfortunately, nearly 75% of students at Herron struggle to cover tuition and supply costs.

Scholarships enable deserving, talented students to access an education at Herron, earn a degree and make their creative mark.

Help raise $3,500 toward student scholarships through Herron’s General Scholarship Fund. The campaign starts strong with a generous lead gift from distinguished Herron alumnus James Wille Faust (B.F.A. ’71) and Martha Faust, and with your contribution, we will help students achieve their aims.

Anna Wright, recipient of the 2024-2025 Vernon and Dorotha Cristee Memorial Scholarship, says, “It means the world to me to be given support that provides me peace of mind and time to focus on my goals and passion.”

Gifts of all sizes are greatly appreciated. Thank you for caring about Herron in the way that you do!

Clockwise from top left: Visitors explore an exhibition in the Marsh Gallery (Iman Pirzadeh), a student cuts material in the furniture design shop (Esther Boston), students painting and fabricating in studio (Liz Kaye at IU), and students working in a music technology lab (Liz Kaye at IU).
