Like philanthropist and IU alumnus Fred Luddy, for whom the school is named, students at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering on the Indianapolis campus see tomorrow while others are still figuring out today.
The Make Your Mark Scholarship helps fund the academic career of Luddy Indy students who have participated in internships, experiential learning, mentoring, or professional development. Your generous gift acknowledges the hard work and talent of these students and encourages them to continue pursuing excellence in their chosen field.
Donors to this fund provide vital support to the best and brightest undergraduates at Luddy Indianapolis as they attain critical real-world experience at top local technology firms. Make Your Mark supports two scholarships per year to students who must show their work’s impact through a letter of recommendation.
Together, we can empower the next generation of tech pioneers to achieve everything they can imagine!
Make Your Mark is open to any student who is intrinsically motivated to make a difference in the field of technology, whether it be in the industry, academia, or through service leadership. We’ve seen shining examples of these students at our school already, so we would like to recognize and support them with hopes that they will continue pursuing their passions and inspiring future generations of technology leaders. There is no minimum GPA requirement, because I believe that GPA doesn’t truly represent the talent, passion, and drive that someone might have towards technology; rather, I think it’s the engagement, involvement, and impact that shows a more accurate reflection of a student’s efforts to learn and grow.
