Additional Info
For more than 125 years, the IU McKinney School of Law has been dedicated to providing a top-rate legal education. Located in the vibrant capital city of Indianapolis, our school is filled with opportunities for those pursuing the study of law. We are passionate about shaping a new generation of lawyers and leaders by championing our students' success and well-being.
According to data from the Law School Survey of Student Engagement, 50 percent of law students across the U.S. and beyond reported experiencing high levels of stress and anxiety, with more than half of them identifying financial concerns and student debt as sources of their high degrees of stress. The report highlighted that "the higher the debt, the more stress and anxiety a student can experience."
Gifts to this fund can help alleviate those pressures, as evidenced by these words of gratitude from former scholarship recipients:
“By reducing the financial burden, I can focus solely on my academics.”
“Your investment in my future at IU McKinney Law is the motivation that I will use to work even harder for the rest of my legal career.”
Your generosity is appreciated. You are making a difference!
Your giving matters
This opportunity that you have provided for me is absolutely inspiring, and I hope that one day I will be able to help other graduate students in the way that you are helping me.
