Esports are live, high-performing team-based video game competitions. As one of the newest sports at IU East, this pack of gamers is off to a tremendous start. Esports seasons are held both in fall and spring across a wide array of video game titles. Much like traditional sports, esports teams focus on both individual skill in the games and building teamwork, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.

One of the biggest successes for Esports at IU East is the community and diversity among the team. The Esports team is uniquely positioned to provide students with an opportunity to find community and a sense of belonging.
