Established in 2013 as the first food pantry among regional IU campuses, the IU East Food Pantry has grown into a vital, compassionate resource for students in need. What began as a modest food collection site is now a comprehensive hub of support—grounded in the belief that hunger is more than an empty bowl.
Today, the pantry stocks staples like pasta, rice, sauces, canned goods, and snacks to meet practical nutrition needs for students and often for the families who depend on them. But support goes far beyond food. The pantry also provides clothing, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and personal care items—everyday essentials that protect health, restore confidence, and allow students to show up prepared in the classroom and the workplace.
When you give to this fund, you are not just filling shelves. You are helping students build healthier, more stable lives so they can perform at their very best. Thank you for your support!
