The Eskenazi Museum established its internship program to offer IU undergraduate student interns the unique opportunity to contribute to many different areas of the museum, including communication and design, exhibition planning, education, development, and object handling. 

As Indiana University takes a more active role in ensuring that each student has an experiential learning component to their education, the museum aims to offer more opportunities and internships that attract students from a variety of academic disciplines to work in all areas of the museum. For example, in 2024, the museum launched its annual Summer Internship program, adding yet another valuable learning opportunity supported by gifts to this fund.
