Additional Info

Entrepreneurial thinking has permeated the entire world in the 21st century. The Velocity Conference, with eminent speakers who graciously commit their time to share stories and experiences, stands as a unique opportunity for students to learn firsthand from the absolute best in entrepreneurship today.

Founded by Jack M. Gill, PhD, the Velocity Conference is organized by Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in partnership with the University of California, Berkeley, for the purpose of accelerating entrepreneurial careers. Each year, members of the Kelley School's Entrepreneurial Innovation Academy join with selected graduate students from IU's Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering to delve into the Silicon Valley entrepreneurial ecosystem. Students tour the Valley and hear candid stories of those who have “been there and done it.” Memorable conference experiences have included visiting the Computer History Museum, Google, eBay, Cisco, Plug and Play Tech Center, Fogarty Innovation, SonicWall, Extreme Networks, and many emerging companies.
