Friends of Anthropology Fund - BL

Department of Anthropology

In the Department of Anthropology at IU Bloomington, we strive to understand human behavior by studying and comparing both biology and culture—past and present, local and global, mental and material. We take a holistic approach that includes human biology, social and cultural experience, human-environment interactions, linguistic and artistic expression, and evolutionary processes throughout time. As a result, our students are well prepared to meet the challenges of our changing world.
