Additional Info
AMPATH provides opportunities for future global health professionals to develop skills in care, research, and leadership. Your support will play a pivotal role, as income from your gift can:
- Support "Einterz Scholarships," training exchange scholarships for Kenyan medical students and registrars (residents) to study at IU.
- Provide two-month rotations in Eldoret, Kenya, and beyond so that IU trainees can gain hands-on experience in urban or rural clinical sites.
The AMPATH medical exchange program began in 1990 when Bob served as the first IU faculty member living and working in Eldoret, Kenya, with Lea Anne and their young family by his side. Bob also served as the first director of the AMPATH Consortium and the IU Center for Global Health Equity.
Thank you for changing the life of a medical student!
Your giving matters
A big thank you for supporting my academics and our elective program in Indiana University last summer. It’s because of you and the Einterz Fund that my colleagues and I were able to take part in this incredible program.
