Building on the legacy of 100 years of graduate training in folklore and ethnomusicology studies at Indiana University, the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology remains committed to preparing exceptional students for careers in research, teaching, public scholarship, and the arts. Many of our students have benefited from the generosity of our donors and have been able to utilize grants for travel to field sites, archives, libraries or museums, or conferences, and to meet with leaders in our fields thanks to donations from our alumni.

Income from your gifts will support the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology through dissertation research fellowships, conference travel grants, guest speakers who will enrich our students’ intellectual and professional development, and much more!
