Komen Tissue Bank Giving Tuesday

The Komen Tissue Bank (KTB) at the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center has collected normal breast tissue and blood samples from more than 6,000 women. Housed within the cancer center’s Vera Bradley Foundation Center for Breast Cancer Research, the bank provides an important tool for both IU and international researchers as they learn how breast cancer develops. Gifts to this fund provide essential operating support for the KTB and research utilizing its samples.
