Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center
We know that research cures cancer. IU has done it before: Nearly five decades ago, an IU team led by Lawrence Einhorn, MD, developed the cure for testis cancer. Your gift to the IU Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center fund enables these kinds of advances by supporting research, education, and clinical programs at the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center.
IU is a national leader in cancer research
The IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center is the central hub of all cancer research and education across Indiana University. We have a deep bench of researchers studying all forms of cancer. Our more than 300 researchers are never daunted in their work to beat cancer.
Our team has earned the gold standard for cancer research. We’re Indiana’s ONLY National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center – and one of only 58 in the nation. This prestigious designation recognizes our excellence in cancer research, our educational activities, and our effective community outreach across the state. We’re also Indiana’s only member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, placing us at the forefront of developing the nationally recognized standard of care for all cancers.
Together, we are one team: IU vs. Cancer. And you can join us.
