The Jerry F. Tardy Operating Endowment was established in 2003 to support core alumni services that directly impact the realization of the mission of the IU Alumni Association: to encourage alumni to grow a lifelong connection with Indiana University and inspire their ongoing generosity toward each other and IU. This fund honors the legacy of Jerry F. Tardy, BS’62, CEO of the IU Alumni Association from 1987 until his untimely death in 2001. The Tardy Endowment reflects the collective commitment of alumni and donors who support programs and services for all IU alumni worldwide.

This account is an endowment. Your gifts to this fund will be invested in perpetuity to provide annual income to support the purpose of the account. Per Indiana University Foundation, Inc. policy, endowment accounts which do not ultimately become fully funded at the required minimum through pledges/gifts will be converted to an expendable account supporting the same purpose as the original endowed fund.
