Not only are they the hands and feet of our mission, they are also at the very heart of what makes the IU alumni community so special. The Alumni Leadership Development Fund was created in 2003 to support them and their continued training and development—an important piece of the volunteer journey.

The IUAA and its volunteers support more than 760,000 alumni across the globe. We rely on alumni volunteers to engage with alumni either as individual volunteers or in our affinity, affiliate, academic/campus-based, and geographic-based communities, as well as via our formal governing bodies—the Board of Managers and the Executive Council. 

The IU Alumni Association is committed to providing high-quality, robust, timely, and fun volunteer development opportunities to these volunteers well into the future, and this fund helps us do so.

Donating to the Alumni Leadership Development Fund will impact volunteers directly, as they share their time and talent with Indiana University. Our volunteers engage globally, sharing a love of all things IU. Contributing to this fund supports volunteers by giving back to those who are giving so much to their Alma Mater.
