Since 1953, IU’s Distinguished Alumni Service Award recipients—collectively known as the DASA Club—have donated more than $2 million in support of scholarships and grants to deserving IU students. The DASA Club Scholarship supports students attending Indiana University with the intention that scholarship recipients be selected from each of the IU campuses.

This fund is made possible by the generous recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Service Award. The DASA is Indiana University’s highest accolade reserved solely for alumni. Awardees are leaders in their chosen fields who make significant contributions benefiting their community, state, nation, or university. Roughly 350 alumni have received the award since its inception, making it one of the rarest and most prestigious accolades an IU alum can receive.

These accomplished alumni choose to come together to give back and support the next generation of leaders to hail from IU.

I thank the DASA Club for recognizing and supporting all of our efforts; I hope to join your ranks someday. I am incredibly happy to say that I plan to attend Indiana University for my master's degree, and this scholarship will assist me in doing so. I honestly do not think I could find a place that feels more like home.
